The OMMA directory your dispensary owner wishes existed.
OK Cannabis Directory is the independent, patient-first directory of OMMA-licensed cannabis dispensaries in Oklahoma. No paid rankings. No pay-to-play featured slots. No out-of-state national app trying to flatten Oklahoma into another zip code. Just real menus, real deals, real doctors, real reviews — from Oklahoma shops, ranked the way patients actually want them ranked.
Why this exists
Oklahoma has more dispensaries per capita than any other state in the country. We pioneered medical cannabis access in the heartland with the OMMA program, and yet, when an Oklahoma patient pulls out their phone to find a shop, the top results are either national apps with Oklahoma as an afterthought, or pay-for-placement “directories” that bury the best local shops in favor of whoever paid most. Patients deserve better. Owners deserve better too.
So we built one for us. A directory where any OMMA-licensed shop gets a free listing — not a sales call. Where deals are sorted by what's actually live right now, not by who upgraded. Where the strain dictionary, the doctor finder, and the cannabis almanac are written for the Oklahoma patient, not a national audience that doesn't know the difference between an OMMA card and a Colorado tourist tax.
And we keep it affordable, on purpose. Any OMMA-licensed shop or doctor can list for free; the optional Full Profile upgrade is a flat, low rate, and founders lock theirs in for life. Banks won’t process cannabis payments — owners live that every day — so instead of bolting on a card processor that could freeze tomorrow, we arrange payment directly: no card on file, no auto-renew, no middleman that can pull the plug on Oklahoma’s directory. Oklahoma grown, Oklahoma proud, Oklahoma affordable — and here for the long haul.
The state of the directory, right now.
No fake numbers, ever. Whatever the live count is, that's what we show. As shops are added and claimed and physicians register, these tick up.
The Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority is the state board that licenses patients, physicians, dispensaries, growers, and processors. If you live in Oklahoma and want legal cannabis, this is the front door.
01
You need a card.
Oklahoma is medical-only. You must hold a valid OMMA patient license to buy at a dispensary. Minimum age is 18 as the patient yourself; minors apply with a parent or guardian as sponsor.
An OMMA-recommending Oklahoma physician (MD, DO, NP, or PA) signs your recommendation form. Most consults are virtual, 15–30 minutes, and run $59–$99 for a new patient, less for a renewal.
The state OMMA application is $100 (or $20 with SoonerCare / Medicare). Approval is usually within 14 days, often faster. You can shop with your approval email before the physical card arrives.

Show real, live numbers.
Dispensary count, deal count, in-stock count — pulled from the live database. Never inflated.
Sell your data.
Patient accounts make the site useful to you — favorites, orders, your med-card info. Your data stays here.
Recommend products to buy.
We tell you what's in stock, what it costs, what the COA said, and what other Oklahoma patients thought. The choice stays yours.
Pretend to be a doctor.
The almanac, dictionary, and strain profiles are educational. For medical decisions, talk to an OMMA physician.
How it stays free for patients.
Patients never pay a cent. Dispensaries get a free basic listing forever, with an optional paid Full Profile that unlocks live menus, deals, and orders — the surfaces that actually drive in-store visits. Physicians pay a small monthly hosting fee to be in the doctor directory. That's it. No ads, no affiliate links, no commission on orders.
What patients ask us.
If your question isn't here, send us a note and we'll answer it — usually within a day.
How do I get an OMMA card in Oklahoma?
Three steps: get a recommendation from an OMMA-recommending physician, file your application with the state ($100, or $20 with SoonerCare/Medicare), and wait roughly two weeks. The full walkthrough lives in our 2026 OMMA card guide.
What's the difference between indica, sativa, and hybrid?
Less than the labels make it seem. Indica, hybrid, and sativa are botanical categories — in practice the terpene profile and cultivar do far more work than the label. Long-form explainer here.
What are terpenes?
Terpenes are the aromatic molecules that give every cannabis strain its smell — and shape its effects. Limonene is citrus and mood-lifting; linalool is lavender and calm; caryophyllene is peppery and anti-inflammatory. Full primer here.
What should I bring to my first dispensary visit?
Your OMMA card (or approval email), a valid Oklahoma ID, and cash or debit. Our first-visit checklist covers the etiquette, the budtender questions to ask, and what NOT to do.
I want to list my dispensary. How?
Search the directory first — your shop may already be listed, ready to claim. If it's missing, create an owner account and add it. We verify it against your OMMA license before it goes live — free, no setup fees, no sales call.
I'm an OMMA-recommending physician. How do I get listed?
Sign up as a physician and fill out your profile (name, credentials, clinic, consult fees, booking link). We review new profiles before they go live — it's free to be listed.
Is my data safe?
We don't sell, share, or rent patient data. We don't run an ads business. We don't have affiliate links. Our only paid products are optional upgrades for dispensaries and physicians. Patients are the customer, not the product.
OK Cannabis Directory is independently built and operated. Not owned by a dispensary chain. Not funded by an out-of-state national app. Not a side project of a brand looking for marketing leverage. We answer to Oklahoma patients first, period.

Come back when you’re 18.
We can’t show this site to anyone under 18. Oklahoma’s OMMA program does allow minors as patients with parent or guardian sponsorship — in that case the parent or guardian should sign in to the directory under their own account, not the minor.
